Trees at Museum now ready to view

The Moody County Historical Society invites the public to come to the Moody County Museum to view the Old-Fashion Christmas Trees.

The trees will be available for viewing Dec. 1 through Dec. 22 on Tuesdays-Fridays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

On Sat., Dec. 8th, a Christmas Open House will be held at the Museum from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Cookies and cider will be available.

Visitors are asked to bring non-perishable or canned food item to vote on their favorite tree. One vote will be given for each food item donated. All items will be given to the Wholeness Center.





Christmas Show at Crystal Dec. 8

The Crystal Theatre will present its annual Christmas Show one night only on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Crystal Theatre in downtown Flandreau.

This year’s theme is “A Caroling We Go” and will include performances by the community choir and band. The show is directed by Dan Sutton and Pat Weight.

Season tickets apply or purchase tickets at the door.





Free movie this weekend

The movie “October Baby” will be shown freeof charge this Friday, November 30, 6:30 p.m. at the Crystal Theatre. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments and popcorn will be available. Call Rita (864-9737) or Jason (695-9392) with and questions.
