Schipper chosen as Region 2 Caregiver of the Year

Pam Schipper, at right, was awarded the 2012 Outstanding Caregiver of the Year award, by the Assisted Living Association of South Dakota for Region 2 this year at their fall conference. She was nominated by her supervisor, Lori Leisinger, picture on the left. Schipper has worked for Edgewood Vista (formerly Greenleaf Assisted Living) in Flandreau for 10 years and is currently their cook. Leisinger said, “Schipper is an exceptional employee, who is fun to work with. She enjoys working with the residents and is very tuned into what their food preferences are and helps to make their meals enjoyable.”
