Parade entries wanted for July 18
Plans are underway for the 2013 Moody County Fair Parade on Thursday, July 18. Everyone is invited to get their parade entries turned into the Extension Office as quickly as possible to ensure a good spot in the line-up.
The theme this year is "The Magic of 4-H.” Entry forms can be faxed or e-mailed to the Extension Office by July 17. Line-up will be held at 5:30 p.m. down by the museum with the parade beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Clubs, organizations, businesses, families, just about anyone can have an entry in the parade by calling the Extension Office at 997-2469 or email@example.com.
Hot Dog Day is July 19
Hot Dog Day is Friday, July 19 and a City-Wide Rummage Sales will also be held. Serving the hot dogs and a drink will take place at the West End Plaza. Those planning on holding sales should look for more information in next week’s Enterprise.
Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Applications open
Remember when you heard about or purchased roses from Hospital Auxiliary members in February? Well the money raised is now being used for Scholarships and the Auxiliary members are ready to accept applications!
Students who have graduated from a Moody County High School, who are pursuing health care related studies and are at least midpoint through their medical academic program are eligible to apply.
The Deadline is July 1. Pick up and return applications at the Avera Flandreau Hospital.

annual service is Sunday
The 19th annual Lone Rock Historical Church service will be held Sunday, June 30. The worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Perry Bauer conducting the services, followed by a noon potluck dinner.
The historical church society annual meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. The Heritage Family is Ole and Ragnhild Berge.
