Johnson-Weston

Jennifer Johnson and Joshua Weston of Flandreau announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Lois Johnson of Okoboji, IA, Lawrence Johnson of Whitewood, SD and Everett and Belva Weston of Flandreau.

The bride-to-be is currently attending South Dakota State University in Brookings working obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She is also employed at SDSU in the catering department. Her future groom is currently attending Kansas University in Lawrence, KS earning his Master's in Business. No wedding date has been set.

Joshua Owancayaduta Weston, Jr.

Joshua Weston and Jennifer Johnson of Flandreau are the parents of a son, Joshua Owancayaduta, born Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Sanford Health. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. at birth. He is the couple’s first child.

Grandparents are Lois Johnson of Okoboji, IA, Lawrence Johnson of Whitewood, SD and Everett and Belva Weston of Flandreau. Great grandparents are Elmer and Betty Hinricher of Flandreau, Anne Whipple of Chamberlain, SD, Frank Estes of Phoenix, AZ, the late Ordell and Ellen Johnson, the late Rev. Andrew Weston and the late Violet James.
