Hawk mural now in place

For National Education Week the students, faculty and staff at Colman-Egan Schools took a "School Spirit" picture in front of their new mural. The front entry of the school has had a face-lift as well.  The gym' Hawk design is not totally completed though as the artist will be back complete it.

Mas que beisbol has become the new mission for Helping Kids Round First (HKRF), because that is exactly what the Flandreau based non-profit has become. The organization, founded by local farmer Craig Severtson in 2009, was originally dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged youth through baseball, with a focus in Nicaragua.

Richard and April Jackson of Auburn, WA are the parents of a son, Carter Warren, born Saturday, October 17, 2015. He joins a sister, Claire, age 2 at home.
