“Think Pink” Volleyball Night is Tuesday, October 4

The Flandreau Flier Volleyball team is hosting their annual Think Pink Night during the volleyball game with Colman-Egan on Oct. 4.
The night is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research. The team also encourages both Flier and CE Hawk fans to wear pink clothing that evening.

Fliers girls win at Dells meet

DELL RAPIDS , The Flier girls placed all four scoring runners in the top 13 team standings to score 28 points while Elkton boys placed four runners in the top 20 team standings for 44 points to take team honors at Wednesday's Dell Rapids Cross Country Invite at Rocky Run Golf Course.
The Flandreau boys placed seventh with 83 points.


Fliers fall in two contests

FLANDREAU, McCook Central/Montrose swept the Fliers 25-18, 25-9, 25-15 during Big East Conference volleyball action Tuesday night.
"Tonight was tough for us," said Flandreau coach Kelli Herman. "We have to continue to work on our communication and our movement on and off the net. When we do that, we play like a much better team than we were tonight."
