The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal members will hold their 2010 General Election in conjunction with the General business meeting on Saturday, Aug. 7 at the Royal River Casino Royal Room.

Candidates include: President--Francis Wakeman Jr., Anthony Reider; Trustee I--Marsha Schlueter, Jason Taylor; Trustee III-Gina Williams, Major Redwing; Secretary--Kim Brown and Leah Fyten.

The polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Absentee ballots are available from now until Aug. 6 at the FSST office, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Candidates or voters can submit questions in writing to the Election Board--Mike Weston, Alt. Chairman; Warlene Yellow Cloud, Alt. Sec.; Marcie Redday, Alt. board member or Wanda Cadotte, judge.
