Moody County Sheriff Troy Wellman has filed a complaint against the Moody County Commission for allegedly violating the South Dakota Open Meetings Law by holding an unadvertised meeting that was closed to the public.

MCRC receives four new computers

Flandreau junior Joey Moore uses one of the four new computers that recently arrived at the Moody County Resource Center. The computers, purchased through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Opportunity Online hardware grant secured by the library in 2009, arrived two weeks ago. Two Flandreau band members to travel abroad

Two Flandreau High School seniors will be taking their musical talents overseas next summer.
Hayley Burggraff and Cassie Feske have been selected to take part in The Midwest Ambassadors of Music European Concert Tour, which will take place June 27 through July 12, 2011.
