Storms Slams Egan

Residents of Egan are cleaning up in the aftermath of a wild storm that blasted through town Friday night, uprooting trees, damaging homes and ripping the tops off of grain bins.

Courthouse roof work

Crews from Architectural Roofing and Sheetmetal Inc. (ARS) out of Sioux Falls lower materials to the roof of the Moody County Courthouse Thursday. ARS was hired by the county to replace the roof. The Moody County Commission accepted ARS's bid of $56,870 on June 22. The work started last week and is expected to be complete this week. ...more

Law enforcement officials are looking for suspects in a vandalism spree that cut a swath across the city of Colman last week.

Tribe to hold Council elections on August 7

The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal members will hold their 2010 General Election in conjunction with the General business meeting on Saturday, Aug. 7 at the Royal River Casino Royal Room.
